Why shop local, you ask? Not only does it boost our local economy - it also celebrates the diversity and creativity that makes LA County so special. We're turning the spotlight on our beloved small businesses, and we want YOU to be a part of the celebration.

Take the Shop Local Pledge below to be automatically entered to win from a selection of great prizes including a $500 gift card to a small business of your choice! That’s right, you get to decide how to best invest in your local community. 

Here’s How It Works:

  • Take the Shop Local Pledge above to be automatically entered into our sweepstakes.

  • Winners will be drawn from the pool of entrants.

  • There are multiple chances to win.

  • In April and May, one $500 winner, two $100 winners, and five swag bag winners will be selected.

  • Shop Local LA will contact winners by email and you will have up to one week to respond confirming you wish to accept your prize.

  • $500 and $100 winners will receive up to the value of their prize as gift card(s) to a local business of their choosing (or split between 2).

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be a resident of LA County in order to be eligible for prizes.

  • You must be 13+ years of age to enter.

  • Businesses selected for gift cards must be based in Los Angeles County and have less than 100 employees. Shop Local LA reserves the right to determine if selected businesses are eligible.
